GLGA News | GLGA Secretariat’s new site opening ceremony held, working together in a cross-industry way to build a green, three-dimensional legal ecosphere

Introduction: In the morning of Feb. 28, Green Legal Global Alliance (GLGA) Secretariat’s new site opening ceremony was formally held in World Trade Center Phase 3. LIU Guangchao, President of Green Legal Global Alliance (GLGA), ZHANG Yaxing, Co-President of GLGA, and all members of Secretariat attended the ceremony. The opening of the secretariat’s new site marks the alliance's management and operation have realized whole-system, multi-functional, cross-platform layout, with its development entering a new stage. 

Around 10:00 A.M., Feb. 28, Green Legal Global Alliance (GLGA) Secretariat’s new site opening ceremony officially kicked off. LIU Guangchao, President of Green Legal Global Alliance (GLGA) and Director of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, and ZHANG Yaxing, Co-President of GLGA delivered a speech respectively. 

President Liu said in his speech, 2018 was the 40th year of the reform and opening-up, and China's economy achieved rapid development and scale expansion in the past 40 years; At the new historical starting point, China's economy would develop towards a more high-quality, sound and benign manner, and in a more innovative and integrated direction. Green Legal Global Alliance (GLGA) is a law-oriented cross-industry alliance, which focuses on the pain spots and focus issues in the industry, and on cultivating the core force driven by innovation. 

Last year, the alliance established the Innovation & Development Center as a permanent base for GLGA research and industry exchanges, which had held various kinds of forums and seminars, so as to build an open, inclusive, co-built and sharing intelligent platform through cross-industry integration and intercommunication; the Financial & Capital Market Research Center under GLGA Research Institute was also established, bringing together domestic think tank forces such as economists, entrepreneurs and jurists to jointly engage in basic research, innovation research, cross-over research and frontier research, and it had also yielded some research books and a series of achievements. We wish to, through the alliance, give play to the power of the industry, the power of think tanks, and the power of “cross-industry”, jointly provide valuable research achievements for high-quality development of China's economy. The opening of GLGA Secretariat’s new site marks the alliance has realized whole-system, multi-functional, cross-platform layout, and it is to work with the Innovation & Development Center in a cross-industry way to build a green, three-dimensional legal ecosphere. 

President ZHANG Yaxing looked into the alliance’s mission and development prospects. He said, the core vitality of Green Legal Global Alliance (GLGA), as an alliance with cross-industry as its core advantage, lied in breaking the barriers among industries, and therefore the alliance had been dedicated to building an increasingly open, free, equal and diversified platform, gathering the voices of the industries, approaching problems in the collision of ideas, clarify the essential direction in research, and seeking solutions and breakthroughs in cooperation. Resiting the secretariat was the alliance’s down-to-earth action to establish an all-round, cross-industry, multi-perspective and green legal ecosphere, which would further guarantee the alliance’s discussion, decision-making and operations management, jointly promote the alliance’s present research achievements, and facilitate the realization of green, sound development of the industry, indicating that the alliance had taken a substantial step toward the goal of business complementarity, project interaction, resource sharing, capital linkage, and innovative development.
