GLGA News | President LIU Guangchao attends 10th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum

Introduction: On the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to China, co-sponsored by China International Contactors Association (CHINCA) and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), The 10th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum with the theme of “promoting international infrastructure’s high-quality sustainable development” was held in Macao during May 30-31, and more than 2,000 industry elites from 72 countries and regions attended the conference, including 56 government officials at or above the ministerial level. 

LIU Guangchao, President of Green Legal Global Alliance (GLGA), and Director of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm attended the forum on invitation. XI Xiaohong, senior advisor to Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, and ZHANG Ting, Director of International Business Department of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm also attended the forum. This was the second year in a row that President Liu attended the forum, at which Liu and his party had an in-depth exchange of views with representative personages of various circles. 

At the beginning of the forum, FANG Qiuchen, President of China International Contactors Association (CHINCA) presided over the opening ceremony. CUI Shi’an, Chief Executive of the Macau S.A.R, WANG Bingnan, FU Ziying, Vice Minister of Commerce, Director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macau S.A.R, SHEN Beili, Commissioner of Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Macau S.A.R, Leong Vai Tac, Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macau S.A.R, as well as prominent politicians from various countries and principals of international financial institutions attended the opening ceremony. 

Soon afterwards, the inauguration ceremony for Mainland China-Macao “Belt and Road” Specialized Committee for Industry and Commerce was held, and The Belt and Road Infrastructure Development Index (2019) and The Belt and Road Infrastructure Development Index Report (2019) were issued. In addition, theme forums "Dialogue with international financial executives: investing in high-quality sustainable infrastructure” seminar and "Co-building high-quality sustainable infrastructure -- from goal to practice" were held, and representatives from governments, financial institutions, enterprises and other circles had in-depth exchanges of views on the themes. In the follow-up agenda of the International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum, there would be a “Reception dinner on 10th anniversary of forum”, 12 parallel sessions and business talks, as well as a project signing activity.
